Rizhao Steel issues domestic rebar and coiled bar prices

On January 26, Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Rizhao Steel Holding Group Co. has adjusted its rebar and coiled bar prices as follows, with comparisons compared to previous prices issued on January 22. 

Rebar prices have been cut by RMB 40/mt ($6.41/mt). Currently, 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar prices in Shanghai are at RMB 2,263/mt ($363/mt), while 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar prices in Qingdao in Shandong Province are at RMB 2,303/mt ($369/mt). 

In addition, the steelmaker has issued unchanged prices for coiled bar. Currently, 8.0 mm HRB 400 coiled bar prices in Shanghai are at RMB 2,393/mt ($383/mt), while 8.0 mm HRB 400 coiled bar prices in Linyi in Shandong Province are at RMB 2,463/mt ($395/mt). 

The prices above include VAT and are effective as of January 26.
