Turkey’s Icdas hikes its longs prices as week begins

Today, October 7, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has issued its official rebar price at TRY 23,742/mt ($630/mt) ex-works. The supplier has also issued its wire rod price at TRY 23,742/mt ($630/mt) ex-works. Both long product prices include 10 percent VAT. The mill has increased its longs prices by TRY 418/mt ($10/mt) amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and the positive sentiment in Turkey’s import scrap market.

Most mills in the Marmara region are offering rebar at $635-640/mt ex-works today, SteelOrbis has heard.
