Turkey’s Kardemir closes its rebar sales

Turkey’s Kardemir, having issued its rebar price at TRY 21,455/mt ($627/mt), excluding VAT, yesterday, October 23, closed its rebar sales earlier today. Sources report that the mill succeeded in selling around 12,000 mt of rebar. This tonnage is somewhat smaller compared to its previous rebar sales tonnages due to the negative sentiment on the demand side, while the mill's rebar price was slightly higher as local Turkish rebar prices have lately been varying at $620-635/mt ex-works depending on the region, including VAT.
