Turkish official domestic wire rod prices mainly increase

Over the past week, official wire rod prices in Turkey have mainly increased by $5-10/mt against the backdrop of limited supply, while wire rod prices in Thrace region has remained stable so far, compared to Wednesday, September 18. Most local buyers are in wait-and-see mode.

According to sources, the workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $605-615/mt ex-works, depending on the region.

One Iskenderun-based mill has hiked its wire rod price by $10/mt to $610/mt ex-works today, September 24.
