Official wire rod prices in Turkey have mostly fallen by $5/mt, except in the Thrace region where list prices have remained stable with additional discounts for serious buyers, against the backdrop of sluggish demand, as compared to Tuesday, November 5.
According to sources, the workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $610-620/mt ex-works, depending on the region.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its wire rod price at $620/mt ex-works today, November 5. Most buyers are in wait-and-see mode as regards new purchases.
