Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 38, 2024

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 300/mt ($9/mt) over the past week to NTD 9,400-10,100/mt ($294-316/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 37,000-39,500/mt ($1,157-1,236/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-October shipments.
