Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 44, 2024

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 9,700-10,400/mt ($304-326/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 1,000/mt ($31/mt) over the past week to NTD 37,500-40,000/mt ($1,174-1,252/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late November shipments.
