Turkish mills’ domestic scrap procurement prices remain stable

Friday, 19 July 2024 17:43:32 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul

Turkey’s domestic scrap market has mostly remained stable over the past week both in terms of Turkish lira and dollars. General range in the local Turkish scrap market for the benchmark DKP grade scrap is still at TRY 11,800-13,150/mt in the local currency. Dollar-based quotations have moved sideways at $357-398/mt week on week. The stable trend observed in the deep sea segment is supporting this sideways movement in the domestic market.
