Bayi Steel to implement maintenance on 2,500 cubic meter blast furnace

Xinjiang Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Bayi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (Bayi Steel) has announced that it plans to carry out maintenance on its 2,500 cubic meters blast furnace from December 8, with the resumption of production being expected after the Spring Festival, which will reduce the production output of molten iron by 6,000 mt per day.
