China's excavator sales expected to increase by 3.13 percent in 2024

In December last year, China’s excavator sales are expected to amount to 19,369 units, up 16 percent year on year, as announced by China-based Construction Machinery and Equipment (CME).

In particular, in December, excavator sales in the Chinese domestic market are expected to amount to 9,312 units, rising by 22.1 percent year on year, while excavator sales to the export markets are foreseen to total 10,057 units, up 10.8 percent year on year.

In the full year of 2024, China’s excavator sales are expected to reach 201,131 units, increasing by 3.13 percent year on year. In 2024, excavator sales in the Chinese domestic market are predicted to rise by 11.7 percent year on year, while excavator sales to the export markets are foreseen to decline by 4.24 percent year on year.
