CPCA: China’s passenger vehicle retail sales down 12.1% in January

Passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 1.794 million units in January, down 12.1 percent year on year, while decreasing by 31.9 percent month on month, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). 

In the given month, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales totaled 744,000 units, up 10.5 percent year on year, while decreasing by 42.9 percent month on month.
