CPCA: China’s passenger vehicle retail sales down 21% in Jan 1-12

Passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 533,000 units in the January 1-12 period this year, down 21.0 percent year on year, while decreasing by 36.0 percent month on month, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).  

In the January 1-12 period, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales totaled 206,000 units, up 8.0 percent year on year, while decreasing by 50.0 percent month on month.
