CPCA: China’s passenger vehicle retail sales up 34% in Dec 1-15

Passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 1.083 million units in the December 1-15 period this year, up 34.0 percent year on year, while increasing by 14.0 percent month on month, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

In the current year up to December 1, passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 21.341 million units, up 6.0 percent year on year.

In the December 1-15 period, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales totaled 536,000 units, up 71.0 percent year on year, while increasing by 6.0 percent month on month.

In the current year up to December 15, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 10.132 million units, up 43.0 percent year on year.
