Stocks of main finished steel products in China up 0.6% in early Jan

On January 10 this year, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in 21 major cities in China totaled 6.63 million mt, up 40,000 mt or 0.6 percent compared to December 31, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

In particular, as of January 10, domestic inventories of HRC, CRC and medium steel plate increased by 2.4 percent, 2.2 percent and 3.1 percent, while domestic inventories of wire rod and rebar edged down by 5.4 percent and 0.8 percent, respectively, all compared to December 31.
